The whole aesthetic of this one was determined by the fabric of Juan Diego’s tilma (scratchy and natural)
It all matches up and is a rich point of prayer and contemplation

Italian American food at its best with the a community environment and exuberance. I painted this before they built on an addition to accommodate all the needs of the lively city. Thats why I call it vintage.
