Blackberry and char grilled meats with smoky toasty oak aromas, quite similar to many Bordeaux Cabernets in profile. It is a medium bodied wine with a succulent fleshy mid palate with flavours of blackberry and red currants with hints of Nori seaweed and bay leaf and lapsang tea. Layers of flavours wash over the mouth but also words like elegance and finesse and complexity are evoked when tasting this
