Antique Japanese Sake Bottle Tokkuri Blue Hares Fur Glaze Spout 8” Shunga Made of wood and brocadeThis is a antique late Meiji era (c. 1900) Japanese Tokkuri (sake bottle). It is made of ceramic fired at high temperatures for lasting durability. It has a simple clear crackel glaze over the tan clay body. At the spout is an eye catching blue hare's fur glaze with a unique drip pattern. Please note condition hairline as shown in photos. Height = 7. 75" (20cm) Diameter = 3" (7. 5cm)
