Poster Nr. 34 | Hochhaus Friedrichstraße | Mies van der Rohe silver Ce collectif d'artistes à forteLudwig Mies van der Rohe designed the "Friedrichstrae High Rise" in 1922 with a trident shaped floor plan and a glass facade. Three elevators form the core, and the interior space feels open. The high rise remained a concept and was not feasible at the time. The design emphasizes the lightness of the building in contrast to the heavy Berlin old building structure. The image comes from the design competition for a high rise at Friedrichstrae Station
