Germany, Wehrmacht. A General Assault Badge, by Rudolf Karneth Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic Mary Paquin(Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, surrounding a central Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of an uncommon hollow zink variant
