Growing up on her familys farm in Carnuntum, a little way east of Vienna, she was surrounded by vines, wheat fields, orchards, and animals throughout her childhood, but it was grape vines that captured her attention the most. During her viticulture studies she was exposed to wines of all sorts from all over the world. In particular, organically farmed wines repeatedly proved
