La Jasse Castel Languedoc AOP ‘Pimpanela’ 2020 Size::1 Bottle Nectarine fleshAnother expressive, pure wine from this incredible small estate. Pimpanela means 'peony' in Occitan but also 'clever woman'. This pure, luscious red is 40% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 20% Carignan, 30% Cinsault and is aged in vats for 6 months. There are lashings of purple and blue berries, bay leaf garrigue and pepper. The wine is gastronomic and sumptuous, all in an elegant framework with delicious fruit tannin for grip and texture.
