Württemberg, Kingdom. An Order of the Württemberg Crown, Knight’s Cross with Case, c. 1916 Newly Listed Type III (1933-1941)(Orden der wrttembergischen Krone Ritterkreuz mit Etui). Instituted 23 September 1818 by King Wilhelm I. (1870 1918 issue). Constructed of gilded silver with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross with white enameled arms, the obverse bearing a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a raised and gilded crown, situated within a red enameled ring bearing a gilt inscription of FURCHTLOS UND TREW (FEARLESS AND LOYAL), the reverse
