A bronze medal commemorating the Limes Programme of the 1938 Westwall (Siegfried Line) construction, the obverse presents a man digging over a symbol GB for the organization Grn u. Bilfinger, circumscribed with the statement HAUPTUNTERNEHMER GRN U. BILFINGER A. G. (Main Entrepreneur Grn & Bilfinger A. G.), the reverse shows a soldier behind a frontier fortification protecting a woman and child, surrounded by the
