Germany, Heer. An Em/Nco’s M42 Overseas Cap, By Kurtze & Storckmann Hold paper backing(Heer Schiffchen). An extremely well preserved Heer EM NCOs M42 overseas cap, constructed of heavy field grey wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side panels which are secured in place at the front by dual grey magnetic metal buttons on the right flap meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes on the left flap. It is also flanked on each side by ventilation holes, both reinforced with zink eyelets. Stitched into the peak of the cap
