Germany, Wehrmacht. An Infantry Assault Badge In Silver Auction Archive 1912 - February 9(Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak wreath, topped by a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika with a bowtie on the bottom, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k with the bayonet attached to the front of the barrel and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring
