This gown is from the late 1940s and came to us a work in progress - it was never fully imagined (until now) and has never been worn or walked down the aisle
It can be worn several different ways including like a Juliet cap

The Barbara features a sheer boat neckline, capped sleeves, back zipper, natural waistline and a voluminous skirt including an inbuilt crinoline to create its amazing shape. The bodice is trimmed in cream velvet and delicate lace + two cream velvet bows on the back! This special piece would be perfect for a bridal shower or courthouse elopement.
