Blossoming Auld Sherried Single Malt (Pedro Ximenez Cask) 45% 700ml santenots Jancis RobinsonThis single malt whisky from Michel Couvreur is his remake of the legendary malt whiskies of the Victorian era. It opens with fragrances of Sherry, maple syrup, flowers, vanilla, and dried fruits. Mellow and long in the mouth, with a nice balance between Sherrys warmth and the fresh flavors that only barley can produce. This is a fabulous demonstration of a whisky matured in a very impregnated sweet PX sherry cask. Its label does not indicate time
