Instituted in 1847. In silver gilt, consisting of a finely enameled red Holy Sepulchre Cross, with typical double sided design, surmounted by a hollow Vatican trophy of arms, partially enameled and highly detailed, measuring 51. 99 mm (w) x 100. 03 mm (h inclusive of trophy of arms), with minor lost of gilt on the suspensions, on its original neck ribbon, near extremely fine.
