This is an extremely well preserved Schutzpolizei (Protection Police) officers visor cap, constructed of smooth field grey wool with a black wool cap band. The cap features three bands of woven, green Waffenfarbe piping at the top, middle, and bottom. Pinned into the peak is a silvered and blackened aluminum cockade with red felt centre, measuring 22 mm in diameter. The cap band features an Ordnungspolizei (Order Police)
