They were founded in 1983, making them one of the earliest straight edge band in the world. They released their debut album Brotherhood in 1983 on XClaim! which included the song "Wolfpack," a song about friendship. Some scholarship has cited this album as the predecessor to the straight edge hardcore iconography phenomenon
