Germany, Imperial. A Wound Badge, Gold Grade Auction After a physical examination on(Verwundetenabzeichen in Gold). A stamped gilded bronze badge, the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom, the reverse plain with a functional hinge catch assembly, unmarked, measuring 38. 21 mm (w) x 43. 22 mm (h), weighing 10. 6 grams, and in overall better than very fine condition.
