A German Red Cross Honour Badge Star, C.1935 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac and Franz Joseph I(Ehrenzeichen des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes, Stern des Ehrenzeichen). Instituted 30 January 1934. (1934 1937). Constructed of silver with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a four pointed radiant star, overlaid by a white enameled Geneva Cross with a gilt frame, bearing a central black enameled DRK style German national eagle with feathering highlighted in gilt, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a
