Germany, Imperial. A Wound Badge, Silver Grade Archive one of the Infantry Company(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, measuring 38. 89 mm (w) x 44. 67 mm (h), some oxidation evident, in overall very fine condition.
