Once again, he sourced the fruit for this wine from the Bit of Heaven, Shale and Duplex vineyards in Hilltops. This years wine comprises 85% Barbera and 15% Nebbiolo from vines rooted in duplex soils of clay and shale. Both parcels fermented as whole berries for 3 to 4 weeks in small, open top fermenters before being racked
