maker marked on reverse Emil Schulze Pobershau
but in December 1914 many volunteers from the Regiment joined the newly formed 2nd Regiment Canadian Mounted Rifles
marked "GENEVE Cylindre 6 Rubis" and numbered "6196"

An Artillery Officer's Dress Pouch, C.1900 Auction Archive Chatham on February 23With brass trim and a detailed Austrian eagle, both side panels are highly detailed displaying flag, cannon and crossed swords. Lined in red leather on the reverse and inside, one restraint strap inside, two straps for belt connection on reverse, loop snap closure and belt buckle on bottom, 87 mm x 155 mm x 45 mm, crisp detail, beautiful craftsmanship, extremely fine.
