Constructed of silvered tombak, obverse depicts a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) bearing a mobile swastika on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field with laurel branch wreath, unmarked, reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, measuring 35. 92 mm (w) x 43. 62 mm (h), weighing 20. 5 grams, with its period original pocket of issue, constructed of field grey paper, maker marked Rudolf Wchlter
