Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with a pentagonal magnetic metal backplate and horizontal pinback, consisting of an eight pointed radiant star, bearing a raised depiction of a factory overlaid by a sickle and hammer, circumscribed by a Cyrillic inscription of (LABOUR GLORY) on a cogwheel, topped by a five pointed red enameled star,
