Germany, Heer. A Mint Turkestan Legion Volunteer’s Sleeve Shield, First Pattern Auction and possibly postwar portepee constructed(Heer rmelschild fr Freiwillige Turkistan 1. Form). Constructed of field grey rayon, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered blue and red shield defaced by a Turkic bow, topped by an inscription of TURKISTAN, unmarked, measuring 68 mm (w) x 88 mm (h), in unissued and mint condition
