Constructed of black wool, the obverse trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with silver aluminum wire tresses, bearing a central silver aluminum wire inscription of GRODEUTSCHLAND executed in Stterlin script, the reverse notably demonstrating an unusual red guide thread, unmarked, measuring 34 mm (w) x 390 mm (l), in uniform removed and extremely fine condition.
