Instituted in 1908. Multi piece construction, in silver gilt with red enamel arms and five smooth rays in each quadrant, the obverse medallion in white and blue enamels, reverse bears the inscription INTER ARMA CARITAS, measuring 37. 95 mm (w) x 43. 80 mm (h inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension), enamel replacements on the reverse arms, missing ribbon but worn with etched loop, in very fine
