Instituted 27 November 1838 by Grand Duke Paul Friedrich August. In Gold, with multicoloured enamel, surmounting crown, measures 11. 65 mm (w) x 18. 48 mm (h), weighs 1. 52 grams, wear to the painted details on the reverse, missing ribbon, near extremely fine condition.
