All the fruit is hand harvested but then macerated to the press to increase the volume of solids in the juice

The result is a Riesling with very delicate aromas of white flowers

an energetic acidity and textured mouthfeel which lead into a complex and refreshing finish

Corofin Brawn Vineyard Chardonnay 2023 2015 after a couple of minutesThe first release of Corofin from this vineyard is a cracking example of Marlborough Chardonnay. With powdery mildew affecting his usual source for Chardonnay from Takaki Okada's Folium vineyard, Mike Paterson instead sourced his fruit from the Brawn vineyard in the Wairau Valley. A great decision. It's rich, concentrated and shows supremely ripe fruit, accentuating the nectarine, apple and nutty characters, as well as a small spicy note. Lees ageing
