Norway, Kingdom. A King Haakon Vii And Queen Maud Coronation Medal 1906, I Class Silver Grade Medal Newly Listed In silver with intermittent gilt(Haakon VIIs och drottning Mauds Kroningsmedalje). Instituted in 1906. In silver, engraver marked "THRONDSEN SC." on the obverse, measuring 29. 3 mm (w) x 49. 5 mm (h), the medal having been taken off its original ring suspension, with a horizontal pinback soldered in place on the reverse, contact marks, fine. Footnote: The coronation of King Haakon VII and Queen Maud took place in Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim, Norway, on June 22, 1906.
