An iron cross paty constructed of silver with a blackened non magnetic metal core, the obverse centre bearing a sprig of three oak leaves and the 6 oclock arm bearing the date 1939, with a ribbed border and smooth edge, the reverse 6 oclock arm bears the date 1813, measuring 44. 61 mm (w) x 48. 07 mm (h), on a red ribbon with white and black stripes, very fine.
