A Leipzig Water Jousting Badge, 1934 Buy Now stating that he had threeA 1934 Leipzig Fischerstechen badge (4. 10. 1934); In die stamped gilt metal, horizontal pin on reverse; unmarked; measuring 44 mm x 35 mm; better than fine condition. Footnote: Fischestechen (Water jousting) is a traditional German Swiss form of jousting where adversaries carry a lance, standing on a platform on the stern of a small bat. The aim of the sport is to send the adversary into the water while maintaining ones own balance on the platform.
