Greece, Kingdom. A Royal Order of St. George I, Grand Cross Sash Badge United Republic of standing on a pedestal overlaid( ). Instituted on January 16th, 1915 by King Constantine I. Civil Division. A Grand Cross sash badge, constructed of gilded silver, consisting of a Latin cross with white enameled arms, with a laurel wreath in the quadrants between the arms of the cross, with a central medallion with a red field inscribed with the crowned Royal Cypher of George I, surrounded by a white enameled ring inscribed (The peoples love is my strength), the reverse is silver
