Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, obverse with central NSDAP style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, on top of crossed hammers, reverse with raised inscription Fr Verdienste im Grubenwehrwesen (For Service in Mining Rescue), measuring 35 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
