Constructed of silver, consisting of a Maltese Cross with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by Luftwaffe eagles clutching mobile swastikas, bearing a central raised mobile swastika set within dual circular rings, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a rounded catch, stamped with a silver content number of 835 and
