Insignia in bronze gilt, mounted to a base in bronze gilt with white enamels, measuring 65 mm (w) x 68. 8 mm (h), horizontal pinback, intact enamels, scattered spotting, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of May for Military Merit was instituted in 1957, as part of the Order of May. It is awarded to foreign civilians and military personnel for meritorious service to the Argentine army. The
