A Fine Set Of United States Army Air Service Aviator Pilot Wings Archive A Scarce Retired Luftwaffe Pilot'sOf high quality with painstaking attention to detail, in sterling silver, the letters "US" in Gold, maker marked "N. S. MEYER, INC. NEW YORK" and marked "STERLING" on the reverse, measuring 16. 5 mm x 75. 3 mm, horizontal pinback, extremely fine. Footnote: Wing designs with the shield fronted by the letters "US" were produced by various makers based on the Regulations of August 1917.
