A III Class cross, in silver, obverse bearing a St. George on horseback spearing a dragon, the reverse medallion bearing the cypher SG, with 3 on the 6 oclock arm, the 3 and 9 oclock arm presenting the impressed number 164346, measures 34. 4mm (w) x 41. 2mm (h inclusive of integral ring), weighs 11. 7 grams, suspended from loop, worn on replacement ribbon, small knocks and pitting, contact marks, lovely patina, in very fine
