The Grand Cross Badge in bronze gilt consists of a five-point star in white enamel
mint condition with slight blemish to the silver wash on one of the wings
probably because that is what they had training and experience with
obverse illustrating the Florence Cathedral with Brunelleschi’s Dome in the background
when he found himself in action on June 4
