Germany, Weimar Republic. A German Honour Legion Cross, By A. Belada’s Nachfolger GTRexclude the Commander of the "Karlsruhe"(Kreuz der Deutschen Ehrenlegion). Instituted 21 September 1921 by the German Honour Legion. (1921 1934 issue). Constructed of bronze with multi colored enamels, consisting of an elongated Maltese Cross with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse with white enameled arms, bearing a central bronze disc overlaid by a black enameled depiction of the Iron Cross, within a ring of white enamel bearing a gilt inscription of DEUTSCHE EHRENLEGION
