Cappo had recently become a Krishna devotee and so Shelter became a project where spirituality and philosophy was at the forefront. The band had constantly revolving door of members, but Ray Of Today was always on the mic. They released nine LPs and a number of EPs from labels like Revelation, Equal Vision, Roadrunner, and Cappo's own
