Germany, Wehrmacht. A Demjansk Shield Buy Now Mounted on a lovely short(Demjanskschild). Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a pair of crossed swords overlaid a frontal depiction of a propeller plane, situated above a raised date of 1942, topped by an inscription of DEMJANSK, and culminating in a central German national eagle perched on top of a wreathed mobile swastika, in turn flanked by a pair of log pillboxes, attached with four side clips to a magnetic metal backplate with a postwar replacement dark
