Germany, Wehrmacht. A Silver Grade Wound Badge certificate_of_authenticity (Post 1935 Issue)(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse depicts a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) bearing a mobile swastika on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field with laurel branch wreath, reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 38. 12 mm (w) x 45. 69 mm (h), weighing 28. 8 grams, in better than very fine condition.
