In 1964, he moved to California to attend UCLA. The following year he started the band with fellow UCLA student Ray Manzarek. And then, two years later, they had a #1 single. And then, sadly, just a few years later, Morrison passed away in Paris at the age of 27. In that short period of time, Jim Morrison became a cultural icon, making much beloved music that is still
