A unique First World War patriotic desk ornament, consisting of a polished marble base, topped by a bronze and patinated bakelite resin German national eagle, executed in exceptional detail and perched on top of a circular oak leaf wreath, surrounding a raised 1914 Iron Cross, the base retaining four felt pads to mitigate surface scratching, unmarked, measuring 15 cm (w) x 7 cm (w) x 19. 5 cm (h), in extremely fine
