Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a pair of lightning bolts, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in position, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch emanating from a circular base, maker marked C.
