Constructed of silvered bronze, on a teardrop loop for suspension from a period replacement ribbon, consisting of a swastika with ribbed arms, the obverse bearing central double Sig runes, set within a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER SS (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE SS), unmarked, measuring 38. 22
