Laos, Kingdom. A Gendarmerie Medal, C.1975 Archive A Salesman's Board with FourteenInstituted in 1970. In silvered bronze with red enamels, measuring 31. 3 mm (w) x 67. 5 mm (h), chipping evident in the red enamels on the star, light contact, original ribbon, very fine. Footnote: The Gendarmerie Medal was instituted in 1970 by King Savang Vatthana, as a reward for brave conduct and meritorious service in the national police forces of the kingdom as the gendarmerie equivalent of the Military Medal.
