Reinstituted 1 September 1939. (1939 1945 issue; post 1957 reissue). Constructed of iron and nickel silver, on a double loop for suspension from a period original neck ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with a blackened magnetic core within a ribbed nickel silver frame, the obverse with three central oak leaves, the six oclock arm with a reinstitution date of 1939, the reverse six oclock arm with an
