Austria, Empire. An Emperial Austro-Hungarian Pilot’s Cap Badge Hold Victory II on April 1(Piloten Mtzenabzeichen). Constructed of silvered tombac, the obverse consisting of an open ended oval oak wreath, with an eagle crouching at the top of the badge, and the bottom of the wreath decorated with the coat of arms of the Austro Hungarian Empire. Superimposed onto the badge is a single airplane propeller marked K. u. K. LUFTFAHRTENTRUPPE, the reverse plain, with a vertical needle pinback, marked Arkanzas on the reverse, measuring 29. 11 mm
