Constructed of silvered bronze, vertical pinback, the obverse bearing a raised and finely detailed elephant circumscribed by an inscription of SDSEE, AFRIKA, KIAUTSCHOU, above an oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a patent number of 33992, measuring 33. 93 mm (w) x 38. 98 mm (h), weighing 20. 1 grams, in extremely fine condition.
